Description

Join us at Boston Conservatory at Berklee on Thursday, April 19 for a performance of Limitless, featuring a pre-show alumni reception with special guest, Conservatory Executive Director Cathy Young. Tickets to the show are available at the discounted alumni price of $10, which includes admission to the pre-show reception.

Limitless consists of five diverse pieces that together present the potential of modern dance. Of the five pieces, students will bring two masterworks to life, including Mark Morris’s Gloria, set to Vivaldi’s music performed live by the Boston Conservatory Orchestra and Choruses; and Doug Varone’s Lux, a tour-de-force of athleticism set to music by Philip Glass. Students will also perform Joe Chvala’s The Red Walls, a thunderous percussive dance piece; a new work created by Darrell Moultrie, one of the most sought-after choreographers working today; and a very special collaborative project with Nona Hendryx, pop icon and one-third of the soul group Labelle, choreographed by Conservatory dance faculty member Duane Lee Holland.
